The year 2022 is coming to an end. For the team of RG+ Schwingungstechnik this means a few contemplative days with their families and friends. Between the holidays, the company will therefore be closed between 27.12. and 31.12.2022. In the first week of the year, the annual inventory is due as usual.
If we look back on the year 2022, we can look at many interesting tasks and projects. These came primarily from our two main markets, rail vehicle construction and sustainable plant engineering. Especially in rail vehicle construction, we were able to see some changes in the applications to be stored and thus also in the direction of sustainability of our customers. Whereas in previous years there were often tank systems for diesel locomotives which must be stored, in 2022 our vibration dampers were increasingly used in the storage of transformers or battery units. In plant engineering we faced a huge amount of enquiries in the field of decentralization.
Successful exhibition appearances at Innotrans and Energy Decentral
Against this backdrop, our return to the exhibition stage is understandable. With Innotrans in Berlin in September and Energy Decentral in Hanover in November, we were able to successfully visit and conclude two leading trade fairs in the respective sectors. Our knitted wire mesh vibration dampers attracted great interest from both new and existing customers. Our home game - the Solids trade show for bulk solids and mechanical process engineering - successfully rounded off our trade show year 2022. Here we would like to thank all interested parties for the constructive and consistently friendly discussions at our booth. We are already looking forward to next year's Intec trade fair for machine tools in Leipzig. Together with the Z-supply fair, we are also entering new territory here and are looking forward to many new impressions and exciting discussions.
But there are also other interesting projects in the pipeline for the coming year. For the first quarter, for example, we can mention the installation of our new photovoltaic system. Among other things, this will give us the opportunity to fuel our e-vehicle fleet with sustainable energy.
Finally we want to wish all our readers, suppliers and customers some peaceful and enjoyable Christmas days and a happy new year. We look forward to a good year 2023 with all of you.
